As Latinos continue to become a major force in the United States, the influence of Spanish-speaking cultures has become undeniable. Today, a new generation of young kids who are the product of this influence now look to express themselves and their experiences. A 14-year-old New York City native, Matt was born to a Colombian mother and an Italian father. His family and friends quickly recognized his charisma and love for performing for all those around him. Growing up in a bilingual household, Matt found a way to use his Latino heritage to speak to millions of young kids just like him as the voice of “Diego” on Nickelodeon’s “Dora The Explorer” and “Go Diego Go”. This was just the first step in working towards his own larger dream. There was a piece of Matt that could only be expressed through one outlet, music. Influenced by the popular music heard amongst his siblings and peers as well as the Latin Bachatas, Salsas, and Cumbias played by his mother, Matt was intent upon developing his own musical sound that combined both worlds. Matt Hunter es un joven de 14 años de edad, nacido en la ciudad de Nueva York, hijo de madre colombiana y de padre Italiano. Poseedor de una gran pasión por entretener a todas las personas a su alrededor que fue reconocida rápidamente por familiares y amigos.
